GDPR Compliance and Privacy
As Gwen Busseniers - My New Self, I am committed to respecting your privacy and protecting your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). I only collect the minimum necessary data to communicate with you and provide my services. This includes names, contact details, and any information you provide during the appointment process or sessions.

Cancellation Policy
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance via phone, text, or email. Cancellations made with less notice or missed appointments will incur the full session costs. I treat everyone's time with respect, and last-minute cancellations prevent others from booking that time. Exceptions are made for emergencies. If I need to reschedule due to illness or emergency, no charges will be made for the missed session.

Refund Policy
Program and session fees are non-refundable once paid. This includes online or in-person services. If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, you can reschedule it for a later date, subject to availability.

Commitment
While I am fully committed to supporting my clients, session results depend on the client's participation, willingness, and effort. Individual results may vary, and success depends on the client's engagement in the process. Please note that coaching is not always a guaranteed solution, and it is the client's responsibility to actively participate in their own transformation.

Code of Conduct
I reserve the right to refuse or stop working with a client at any time if I find the client unsuitable for the services offered. I do not work with individuals under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or with persons with conditions such as epilepsy, psychosis, schizophrenia, or certain personality disorders. Additionally, I do not offer services to children or teenagers.

Both the client and I have the right to end the first session early if we feel there is no connection.

Insurance
Please note that insurance may not cover coaching or related services. If your insurance does cover these services, please inform me before your session so I can provide you with the necessary invoice.

Online and In-Person Sessions
I offer both online and in-person sessions. Online sessions are equally effective. If you choose to meet in person, you are responsible for complying with local safety measures.

Intellectual Property
All content provided by Gwen Busseniers - My New Self, including but not limited to programs, courses, materials, guides, resources, text, images, logos, graphics, videos, and audio files, is the intellectual property of Gwen Busseniers unless otherwise stated.

Ownership
The intellectual property rights of all programs, courses, digital products, and related materials (both online and offline) are owned by Gwen Busseniers. This includes all customized content, resources, and visual materials provided during sessions or via our website.

Limitations
The content and materials are available for personal use only.
You may not share, distribute, copy, modify, publish, reproduce, create derivative works, or exploit content for commercial purposes without explicit written permission from Gwen Busseniers. Any unauthorized use of the materials is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

Usage License
You may only use materials from the website or programs for personal, non-commercial use.
No part of the provided content may be sold, reproduced, or transmitted in any form or by any means without prior written permission from Gwen Busseniers.

Enforcement of Rights
All rights reserved. Infringement of these intellectual property rights will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, coaching services, programs, and courses are provided "as is" without any form of warranty, express or implied. Gwen Busseniers - My New Self is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the services, content, or products offered. This includes, but is not limited to, errors, omissions, interruptions, delays, or any other damage resulting from the use of my services or website.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Belgium. All disputes arising from or relating to these terms, privacy policy, or intellectual property rights will be resolved according to Belgian law, and all legal proceedings will take place in the courts of Leuven, Belgium.

Appointment Form
As part of the appointment form process, I collect personal information. I use that information for one reason only: to contact you and respond to your message. I do not rent or exchange email lists with other organizations and companies. Generally, I rely only on consent as a legal basis for processing regarding answering your questions submitted through the website. Clients have the right to withdraw their consent at any time, and when consent is the only legal basis for processing, I will stop processing data after consent is withdrawn.

Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data
My Own Self processes your personal data for the following purposes:

Sending our newsletter and/or advertising material
To call or email you if necessary to perform our services
To inform you about changes to our services and products
To deliver goods and services to you

Automated Decision-making
My Own Self does not make decisions based on automated processing about matters that could have (significant) consequences for individuals. This refers to decisions made by computer programs or systems without human intervention (for example, an employee of My Own Self).

How Long We Keep Personal Data

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you first visit this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and remember your preference settings. We can also optimize our website with this. You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. In addition, you can also delete all information previously saved via your browser settings.

Viewing, Adjusting, or Deleting Data
You have the right to view, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by My Own Self, and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you.

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data, or request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to mynewself@mijneigenzelf.be.

To ensure that the access request is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. Make the passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and BSN (Citizen Service Number) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. I will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks.

How We Secure Personal Data
My Own Self takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification.
